Specifically, the city provided up to 6 million won per household for renovations, focusing on improving living spaces and energy efficiency. The support included window and boiler replacements, wall and roof insulation, installation of security facilities, and kitchen and bathroom renovations.
A satisfaction survey conducted among the supported households recorded a high satisfaction score of over 98 points.
Since 2006, the city has supported renovations for a total of 6,268 aging households (with 18.983 billion won in support), including green remodeling and installation of convenience facilities.
Kim Seongsu, Director of Architecture at Jeonju City, said, "We are pleased that residents struggling in poor living conditions can now enjoy a more comfortable and convenient home life. As this project has received high satisfaction from the beneficiaries, we will carefully plan next year’s project so that even more people can benefit."
