A Gift Chosen by Children... BNK Busan Bank Holds Year-End "Community Volunteer Day"

Snack Sharing Volunteer Activities for Children at Welfare Centers

BNK Busan Bank (President: Bang Seongbin) held a "Community Volunteer Day" event on December 20 to support children in Busan who are in need of care for the year-end season.

This volunteer activity was organized to provide both emotional and practical support to local children ahead of Christmas. On this day, the bank provided personalized gifts to children living in group homes and supported children at welfare centers by distributing snacks.

Busan Bank's community volunteer teams participated in 10 out of 16 districts in Busan, where they personally assembled and packaged 3,000 snack sets for children at welfare centers and delivered them. Volunteers were assigned to each welfare center and took part in the entire process, from preparing the snack sets to delivering them, actively practicing community sharing.

In addition, at the Busan Bank headquarters, community volunteer teams from six districts-Jingu, Namgu, Yeonje-gu, Suyeong-gu, Saha-gu, and Jung-gu-personally prepared Christmas gifts for children in group homes, including gift sets, mini Christmas trees, and handwritten letters.

They also visited the Musinsa Standard Seomyeon branch with the group home children, giving the kids the opportunity to personally choose their own clothing gifts.

Bang Seongbin, President of Busan Bank, stated, "The children were able to choose their own gifts, and our employees conveyed their heartfelt care. We will continue to carry out social contribution activities that provide meaningful support to local children."

This year, the BNK Busan Bank community volunteer teams have continued their warm engagement with the community through ongoing social contribution activities, including providing rice to child care facilities and making keyrings with children, supporting the Busan Bank Child Love Festival, and volunteering for coal briquette sharing at year-end.
