Nongshim announced on December 22 that it will launch "Shin Ramyun Gold" on January 2, 2026, ahead of the 40th anniversary of Shin Ramyun. Shin Ramyun Gold is a strategic product that combines the chicken broth flavor-one of the key flavors in the global instant noodle market-with the signature Korean spiciness of Shin Ramyun, reflecting Nongshim's commitment to global expansion as it marks the 40th anniversary of Shin Ramyun's release.

Shin Ramyun Gold features a rich and savory broth made from simmered chicken, enhanced with Shin Ramyun's distinctive spicy flavor. In particular, turmeric and cumin are used to create a unique aroma that blends well with the chicken broth, while an abundance of toppings such as bok choy, egg flakes, and spicy pepper garnish add to the texture.


Previously, in 2023, Nongshim launched "Shin Ramyun Chicken," a product exclusively for overseas markets, which received positive responses in countries such as the United Kingdom, Australia, and Malaysia. The newly launched Shin Ramyun Gold upgrades the flavor of the internationally proven Shin Ramyun Chicken to better suit the tastes of domestic consumers.


To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Shin Ramyun next year, Nongshim plans to strengthen the brand value of Shin Ramyun through "glocal" (global + local) marketing that breaks down the boundaries between global and local markets. In fact, with products like Shin Ramyun Tumba and Shin Ramyun Kimchi Stir-Fried Noodles, Nongshim continues to expand the range of Shin Ramyun flavors globally, offering a variety of new variations.
