"Hard to Know Who Is Following Me"
Kang Minkyoung of Davichi has stated that she is "completely unrelated" to recent suspicions from some quarters suggesting her involvement with the so-called 'Jusaimo'.
On the afternoon of December 20, Kang Minkyoung posted on her personal social media, "I would like to carefully address this because I have noticed that some people are curious about matters unrelated to me in the comments on my Instagram and YouTube."
Kang Minkyoung explained, "Due to the nature of social media, it is difficult to know exactly who is following my account," and added, "However, the matters you are concerned about have absolutely nothing to do with me."
She reiterated, "The matters you are concerned about are completely unrelated to me." Kang Minkyoung continued, "I am posting this because I do not want to cause unnecessary concern to those who are waiting for our concert in January."
Recently, online users made public the list of celebrities followed by 'Jusaimo' A, an acquaintance of Park Narae, and demanded explanations. In this process, it was revealed that A was following Kang Minkyoung’s social media, which led to suspicions that Kang Minkyoung might also be connected to Jusaimo.
The list included names such as Park Narae, who has suspended her activities following the controversy, SHINee's Key, YouTuber Ipjalbeun Haetnim, and Jeon Hyunmoo, who denied any connection to illegal medical practices.
Previously, controversy intensified after allegations emerged that Park Narae had visited Jusaimo A's officetel in Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, or had invited A to her own location multiple times to receive IV injections for fatigue relief. Furthermore, additional suspicions arose that Park Narae had received psychotropic medications from A without a prescription or had them prescribed under her manager’s name, prompting the Korean Medical Association to call for an investigation into illegal medical practices.
Currently, A's following list includes a significant number of popular celebrities. Previously, controversy erupted when SHINee Key’s pet and a signed CD from Onew appeared on A’s social media.
In response, Onew explained on December 11, "In April 2022, I visited the hospital in Sinsa-dong where A worked for the first time based on a friend's recommendation. Considering the size of the hospital at the time, it was difficult to be aware of any issues regarding medical licensing," and added, "My visit was for skincare purposes, and the signed CD I gave (to A) was simply a token of appreciation for the treatment."
Meanwhile, A initially claimed on social media to have served as the youngest-ever professor, both as a foreigner and a local, at Inner Mongolia Fugang Medical University Hospital, but has since deleted all posts.
