Fifth Highest-Grossing Animated Film of All Time in Korea

In terms of cumulative audience numbers for animated films, "Zootopia 2" currently ranks fifth. The top five highest-grossing animated films released in Korea to date are "Frozen 2" (2019, 13.76 million), "Frozen" (2014, 10.32 million), "Inside Out 2" (2024, 8.79 million), and "Elemental" (2023, 7.24 million), with "Zootopia 2" securing fifth place. All of the top five are Disney or Pixar animations.
The sixth and seventh spots in the all-time animation box office rankings are held by "Demon Slayer: Mugen Castle Arc" (2025, 5.68 million) and "Suzume" (2023, 5.58 million), respectively.

"Zootopia 2" tells the story of Officer Judy the rabbit and Nick the fox, now a police officer, as they unravel a mystery involving reptiles that have appeared in Zootopia City for the first time in a century. The sequel comes nine years after "Zootopia" (2016), which attracted 4.71 million viewers.
