At around 5:37 PM on December 19, a ten-vehicle pileup occurred near Gangnam-gu Office Station on Subway Line 7 in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

Six people were injured in the accident and transported to nearby hospitals. The large-scale traffic accident during the evening rush hour has caused ongoing congestion in the area. The Seoul Metropolitan Government sent a safety alert message, advising vehicles in the vicinity to take alternate routes and urging nearby residents to exercise caution.
The police believe the accident occurred when a bus rear-ended a car that was stopped in front of it. They are currently working to determine the exact circumstances of the accident and clear the scene. It was confirmed that the bus driver was not under the influence of alcohol.
