Co-hosted with Incheon Startup Park
A Platform Connecting Investment, Industry, and Networks for Global Expansion
Draper Startup House Korea announced on December 19 that it will host a global startup competition, organized by Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority and co-hosted with Incheon Startup Park, and is now accepting applications from participating companies.
This event has been planned as part of Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority's strategy to build a global startup and investment ecosystem. LG Household & Health Care will participate as an industry partner. The core goal is to directly connect promising domestic startups in Incheon with the global investment market and industrial networks. Applications can be submitted through the Draper Startup House website. Any bio, beauty tech, or artificial intelligence (AI)-based consumer goods startup aiming for global market entry and investment attraction is broadly eligible to apply, regardless of growth stage.
Draper Startup House is a global startup platform that connects entrepreneurs and global investors based in major innovation hubs around the world, including Silicon Valley. This competition is the first official event in Korea to be linked with the Draper Global Startup Competition, featuring a structure that allows direct access to the global investment stage.
The selected startups will present their technological competitiveness, marketability, and global expansion strategies through IR pitching on the day of the event. Notably, investors and industry experts from the Draper Global Network will participate directly as judges.
LG Household & Health Care will participate as an industry partner in this program to discover bio, beauty, and AI-based consumer goods startups with global market competitiveness. Rather than simply providing sponsorship, the company will focus on evaluating the potential for real industry application and open innovation collaboration when considering partnerships with startups. The top three companies will each receive an investment of 100 million won. Selected companies will also have the opportunity to participate in follow-up programs linked to 'Meet the Drapers,' the Draper Global Program to be held in Silicon Valley in 2026.
Lee Seyong, CEO of Draper Startup House Korea, stated, "This startup competition is not just a demo day, but a growth platform that connects directly from Incheon to the global stage. Through collaboration with the Draper Global Network, LG Household & Health Care, and Incheon Startup Park, we will provide startups with real opportunities to take the next step forward."
