BNK Busan Bank has donated 30 million won to support the development of youth baseball.


BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) announced on the afternoon of December 19 that it delivered a sponsorship fund for the development of youth baseball to the Busan Metropolitan City Baseball and Softball Association at the bank's headquarters.


This sponsorship fund was created from the proceeds of the "Lotte Giants Victory Wish Deposit" and will be distributed to a total of 16 elementary and middle school baseball teams in the Busan area. The funds will be used by the association to purchase training equipment such as baseballs or for other practical support directly benefiting the teams.

The "Lotte Giants Victory Wish Deposit" is a flagship sports-linked financial product from Busan Bank, first launched in 2007 as the BNK Autumn Baseball Fixed Deposit and now in its 19th year of sales. The product offers preferential interest rates based on the performance of the Lotte Giants, and a portion of the sales is returned as sponsorship funds for the development of local baseball, steadily fulfilling the bank's commitment to coexistence with the local community.


Shin Sik, Head of Personal Customer Group at Busan Bank, emphasized, "Through financial products developed in partnership with local sports teams, Busan Bank continues to support local youth in nurturing their dreams and passion through sports. We will faithfully fulfill our role as a financial institution that grows together with the local community."
