The Gyeongbuk Province Mountain Distribution Policy Evaluation is a comprehensive assessment conducted among 23 cities and counties in the province. It is based on eight indicators across four areas: government evaluations related to mountain distribution, integrated agricultural marketing performance, shipment performance under the Gyeongbuk unified brand, and unique or differentiated policies by each city and county to improve agricultural distribution structures.
In this year’s evaluation, Cheongsong County achieved the distinction of receiving the top award, recognized for its outstanding performance.
The county has been actively promoting policies to boost the distribution and marketing of its agricultural specialties, including the development and activation of the Cheongsong Golden Apple brand, operation of the Cheongsong Apple Quality Assurance System, and support for agricultural product delivery costs. Its differentiated policy initiatives to pioneer new markets for Cheongsong apples received particularly high marks.
A Cheongsong County official stated, “Winning this top award is the result of united efforts by local distribution organizations and production farms. We will continue to implement Cheongsong County’s unique distribution policies to uphold the reputation of Cheongsong apples as the nation’s leading brand.”
