On December 19, Namyangju City announced that Hanul Construction Co., Ltd. donated 20 million KRW at the mayor's office to support children facing economic difficulties, continuing the practice of sharing based on public-private cooperation.

This donation ceremony was organized to enable companies to fulfill their social responsibilities for the local community and to provide practical support to children from vulnerable groups. The city emphasizes that voluntary sharing by private companies plays a crucial role in strengthening the local welfare safety net.


The 20 million KRW donation received on this day will be used for child support projects in the region through the Namyangju Welfare Foundation, and is expected to provide substantial assistance in stabilizing the lives and improving the welfare of children in need.


Hanul Construction Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive construction company engaged in civil engineering, architectural works, housing construction, and real estate development, with a branch in the city. To date, the company has continued its support through the Namyangju Welfare Foundation, the Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea, and the Southern Hope Care Center, with cumulative donations reaching 93.25 million KRW.


Mayor Joo Gwangdeok stated, "I deeply appreciate Hanul Construction Co., Ltd. for its consistent sharing for the children in need in our community," adding, "As such warm participation from the private sector forms a solid foundation for local welfare, the city will do its utmost to discover more corporate support measures so that a voluntary welfare culture can spread through corporate growth."
