Boramsangjo and Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital Provide Daily Necessities to Local Welfare Centers

Directly Managed Funeral Halls as Community Contribution Hubs

Boramsangjo's directly managed funeral hall, Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital Funeral Hall, announced on the 19th that it provided essential daily necessities to two welfare centers in the Yangsan area of Gyeongnam in collaboration with Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital to mark the end of the year.


On the 18th, Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital Funeral Hall and Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital held a donation ceremony for Sanghabuk Social Welfare Center and Sinabro Social Welfare Center, delivering support items worth 6 million won to each center, totaling 12 million won.

Both organizations identified the items most needed in the daily lives of welfare center users in advance and reflected this in their support, directly purchasing and donating winter supplies, electric fans, rice cookers, snacks, and other necessities.


The donation ceremony was attended by Choi Yohan, Executive Director of Boram Group, Director Choi Boram, Lee Sangdon, Director of Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital, and representatives from both organizations.


Boramsangjo has recognized that funeral halls are the closest point of contact with local communities and is operating its directly managed funeral halls as a social contribution platform connecting with the community. Through such activities, its 13 directly managed funeral halls nationwide aim to become hubs that provide tangible support to local residents, going beyond merely being service spaces.


A representative from Boram Group stated, "We will continue to promote mutually beneficial activities with the local community, centering on our directly managed funeral halls."
