The plogging event was a citizen-participation eco-friendly campaign that combined picking up litter with walking for exercise. Executives, employees, and the labor-management council voluntarily joined together to walk around Okjeong Lake Park, collect waste, and promote proper waste separation and recycling.

This activity went beyond simple environmental cleanup; as a labor-management cooperation-based event, it contributed to building an internal sense of community and establishing a healthy organizational culture. Safety measures for winter accident prevention were also implemented. The event was especially meaningful in that it achieved two goals at once: protecting the environment and strengthening the bonds among employees.

Yang Wooseok, Acting President of Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation, said, "This plogging event carries a meaning that goes beyond environmental cleanup. I believe the shared experience of labor and management working together has greatly contributed to building trust within the organization and fostering a healthy corporate culture." He added, "We will continue to expand various social contribution activities in cooperation with the local community in the future."

Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation plans to use this event as an opportunity to continuously expand labor-management joint social contribution activities.
