The Silla University RISE Project Group organized special lectures focused on four core competencies-'self-understanding,' 'career planning,' 'employment strategies,' and 'understanding of laws and systems'-to help international students systematically prepare for employment in Korea after graduation. These lectures were held sequentially from December 8 to December 10.

The first lecture, titled 'MBTI-Based Self-Understanding and Employment Design,' was held on December 8. It was designed to help international students objectively identify their tendencies and strengths and connect these insights to their career and employment strategies.

Professor Kim Mijin from Gimhae University, who led the lecture, introduced methods for analyzing job suitability based on personality types, understanding organizational culture, and assessing individual competencies, thereby enhancing the students' understanding of the Korean job market.

On the morning of December 9, Jung Sehyun, CEO of Sehyun Administrative Office, conducted a special lecture on employment visas for international students. He explained the requirements and procedures for obtaining an employment visa, the process of changing residency status after graduation, and the necessary documents, using real-life examples to address students' questions.

That afternoon, a lecture on 'Post-Graduation Employment Success Strategies and Career Planning' followed. Administrative officer Jung Sehyun provided practical know-how on the overall job search process, including resume and cover letter writing, organizing job experience, and interview preparation. He also presented strategies for international students to effectively showcase their strengths in line with the hiring practices of Korean companies.

On December 10, Professor Kang Giryong of Silla University delivered a special lecture on the Labor Standards Act, explaining key labor-related regulations, important considerations in employment contracts, and the rights and obligations of workers in Korea, all through practical case studies.

This special lecture program was highly rated for its comprehensive and systematic approach, structuring the employment preparation process for international students into 'self-understanding → career planning → understanding of systems → practical preparation,' and for its balanced coverage of psychological, administrative, practical, and legal areas.

Hwang Inju, Head of the Silla University RISE Project Group, stated, "This special lecture series is a practical employment support program designed to help international students settle stably in Korean society and grow into talents for the local industry. Going forward, we will continue to expand customized support that links international student employment with local settlement through the RISE Project."

Silla University plans to continue operating step-by-step employment competency enhancement programs for international students, aiming to steadily nurture global talent needed by local industries and to further strengthen the RISE-type talent development model that grows alongside the local community.
