Imsil County to Hold Special Event for Examinees at Santa Festival

Special Gift Sets for the First 100 Examinees

Imsil County in North Jeolla Province will host a special on-site event for examinees who took this year’s College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) during the ‘2025 Imsil Santa Festival,’ which will be held at Imsil Cheese Theme Park from December 25 to 28.

According to the county on December 18, this event was organized to encourage and comfort high school seniors and repeat examinees, as this year’s CSAT was particularly challenging and the number of examinees, especially those born in the Year of the Golden Pig, has significantly increased, leading to greater concerns about university admissions.

At the festival, the first 100 examinees who visit the promotional booth and present their test admission slip will receive a special gift set filled with various Christmas presents.

Additionally, as this is the final festival of the Year of Visiting Imsil, the county’s public relations office is preparing a variety of participatory events linking the Hometown Love Donation Program with social media, aiming to further enhance the festival atmosphere.

During the festival, a special on-site event will be held for donors who participate in the Hometown Love Donation Program at the venue, offering them pizza as a reward.

On top of the standard thank-you gifts, on-site donors will receive an additional ‘Imsil N Cheese Pizza (Large)’ worth 16,000 won, which can be claimed using a voucher provided at the festival site.

Furthermore, Imsil County is strengthening donation benefits by offering its signature thank-you gift, ‘Imsil N Cheese Yogurt,’ to donors at a 20% discounted price, thereby promoting local agricultural and specialty products and revitalizing the local economy.

Various participatory online events are also underway. To commemorate the Santa Festival, the county is running a ‘Santa Festival Acrostic Poem Comment Event’ through its official social media channels (YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook).

One hundred participants will be selected by lottery to receive ice cream vouchers worth 18,000 won each, and the event will run for about 20 days from December 8 to 28.

Separately, Imsil County’s official YouTube and Instagram channels are also hosting a comment event to support the Santa Festival, where 100 participants will be randomly selected to receive coffee coupons worth 10,000 won, adding extra fun to the festival experience.

County Governor Sim Min stated, “By linking the Hometown Love Donation Program with SNS events during the Santa Festival, we are broadening opportunities for participation. We hope that many people will enjoy the Imsil Santa Festival both on-site and online, and that this will lead to greater interest in and warm participation for Imsil.”
