Gyeongbuk TP Successfully Holds Performance Sharing Meeting for "Cell Culture Material Commercialization Business Support Project"

Gyeongbuk Technopark (Director Hain Sung, Gyeongbuk TP) announced on December 18 that it had successfully held a performance sharing meeting for the "2025 Cell Culture Material Commercialization Business Support Project" at the Daegu Marriott Hotel recently.


This meeting was organized to thoroughly review the achievements of the project, which was managed by the Advanced Medical Converged Textile Center of Gyeongbuk TP under the commission of Gyeongsangbuk-do Province and Uiseong County. It also aimed to facilitate in-depth exchanges on technological trends to foster the long-term development of the cell culture materials, parts, and equipment (so-called "Sobu-jang") industry in Gyeongsangbuk-do.

During the meeting, three companies presented outstanding research cases from the project: Frombio Co., Ltd. introduced the "Development of FB-2 Serum-Free Medium for Localization of Cell Culture Materials"; Biobricks Co., Ltd. presented the "Development of Mucosa-Specific Decellularized Extracellular Matrix Cell Culture Materials and Registration as Cosmetic Ingredients"; and Latbio Co., Ltd. shared the "Development of Bovine-Derived Immortalized Cell Lines for Cultured Meat Raw Material Development."


In addition, Tiribos Co., Ltd. delivered a special lecture on "Developing the Cell Culture Medium Business Based in Gyeongbuk," presenting a clear vision for the future direction of the cell culture medium industry in Gyeongbuk and Uiseong County, which was met with an enthusiastic response from the participants.


Hain Sung, Director of Gyeongbuk TP, stated, "Through this second performance sharing meeting, we were able to confirm the outstanding research achievements of the supported companies and reaffirm the positive outlook for the cell culture materials, parts, and equipment industry in Gyeongbuk," adding, "We will continue to spare no effort in supporting the strategic development of the cell culture materials, parts, and equipment industry in Gyeongbuk over the mid- to long-term."
