Yangpyeong County in Gyeonggi Province (Governor Jeon Jinseon) held the '2025 Excellent Civil Service Department and Employee Awards Ceremony' on the 17th at the county office's main conference room, encouraging employees who dedicated themselves to civil service throughout the year to ensure resident satisfaction.

The event included a civil service courtesy training session, and a total of 23 individuals, including outstanding departments and employees, were honored with awards.

The awards were divided into several categories, including departments and employees with excellent kindness evaluations, employees recognized for their smiles and kindness, and employees who excelled in reducing civil service processing times. Departments and staff members who demonstrated outstanding performance in on-site courteous administration, empathetic civil service responses, and shortening processing periods were selected in each category.

Additionally, the event featured a plaque unveiling ceremony to commemorate the re-certification of the '2025 National Happiness Civil Service Office,' organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, adding further significance. Yangpyeong County was selected for re-certification this year after receiving high marks for its overall civil service quality, including space, services, experience, and satisfaction.

Governor Jeon Jinseon of Yangpyeong County stated, "I deeply appreciate the hard work of the employees who interact most closely with residents at the civil service frontlines," adding, "We will continue to enhance the level of administrative services that residents experience by fostering civil service administration characterized by kindness and empathy."

Meanwhile, Yangpyeong County plans to continue strengthening the capabilities and morale of civil service officials by providing courtesy training and incentives for civil service staff, striving to deliver resident-centered civil service at the highest level.
