Kyobo Book Centre Donates 20,000 sam 1-Month Subscription Passes to Air Force Headquarters Provided by Kyobo Book Centre and Air Force Headquarters

With the sam 1-month unlimited subscription passes provided this time, active-duty Air Force soldiers can freely access more than 810,000 pieces of digital content, including e-books, audiobooks, and academic papers. The market value of the 20,000 subscription passes is estimated at approximately 200 million won.

Users can access the Kyobo Book Centre "Kyobo eBook" app on their personal smartphones and register the provided PIN number to enjoy unlimited access to e-books and audiobooks for one month from the date of registration. The service allows for easy reading in a mobile environment without device restrictions, helping soldiers make better use of their leisure time in the barracks. The Air Force Headquarters plans to use Kyobo Book Centre's sam service to create a customized mobile reading environment for its personnel.

An official from the Air Force Headquarters stated, "Through this collaboration, we have established a foundation for soldiers to easily access high-quality knowledge content even within the limitations of military service," adding, "We expect that digital reading will not only support self-development and emotional stability, but also have a positive effect on strengthening the creative and future-oriented competencies that the Air Force aspires to."

A Kyobo Book Centre representative said, "This donation marks the first step in leading the digital reading culture in the military through cooperation between the Air Force Headquarters and a private platform," and added, "Going forward, we will continue to expand digital reading infrastructure across education and welfare sectors, contributing to the creation of a healthy, knowledge-based military culture."
