[Personnel] Joonchul Jung Appointed President and Head of Manufacturing Division at Hyundai Motor and Kia

Hyundai Motor Group announced on December 18 that it has conducted its regular year-end executive appointments for 2025 and promoted Vice President Joonchul Jung to President and Head of the Manufacturing Division.

President Jung was born in 1961 and graduated from the Department of Mechanical Design at Pusan National University.

He previously served as Head of Advanced Production Technology and Center Director at Hyundai Motor Company, and until recently, held the positions of Head of Manufacturing Division and Head of Manufacturing Solutions Division (Vice President) at Hyundai Motor Company.

President Jung currently oversees both the Manufacturing Solutions Division, which is responsible for vehicle production technology, and the Purchasing Division, which is key to profitability and supply chain management.

Hyundai Motor Group explained that the purpose of this appointment is to focus on building a future production system centered on software, as well as establishing next-generation production systems such as robotics across the group.
