Scenic E-Tech Starting at 37,040,000 Won for All Models
December Marks Final Month for Individual Consumption Tax Reduction Plus Extra Benefits
Renault Korea has launched a special offer package, providing its own electric vehicle subsidy of 8 million won to reduce the financial burden on customers following the exhaustion of government subsidies for electric vehicles.
Additionally, the company has expanded the year-end special support for the Scenic E-Tech 100% Electric to up to 7 million won and introduced a new six-year interest-free installment plan. These special electric vehicle benefits are available only for a limited quantity.
During the year-end customer appreciation event, "Renault Merci Week," Renault Korea will provide an 8 million won internal electric vehicle subsidy to customers purchasing the Scenic E-Tech. This amount is equivalent to the national average of combined central and local government subsidies, which previously varied by region.
When purchasing the Scenic E-Tech, customers can also receive up to 7 million won in additional year-end special support. Loyalty customers who have previously purchased a Renault Korea vehicle as a new car or currently own one will receive an extra 500,000 won, bringing the maximum benefit to 15.5 million won.
Renault Korea will offer the largest purchase benefits of the year in December, just before the end of the special excise tax reduction benefit.
With these special benefits and eco-friendly vehicle tax incentives, customers can purchase the Scenic E-Tech without government or local subsidies at the following starting prices: Techno at 37,036,000 won, Techno Plus at 40,356,000 won, and Iconic at 44,996,000 won. These prices reflect the individual consumption tax reduction.
There are also options for customers who choose to purchase through installments. By using Renault Korea’s affiliated installment plan (MFS), customers can opt for a six-year interest-free installment plan and a special electric vehicle benefit of 5 million won instead of the internal subsidy. Loyalty customers will receive an additional 300,000 won benefit for using the affiliated installment plan, totaling 800,000 won.
The Scenic E-Tech, produced in France and imported for sale in Korea, is an electric vehicle that boasts strengths in design, features, and interior space. It comes equipped with a Solarbay panoramic sunroof and is built on Renault Group’s dedicated electric vehicle platform, AmpR Medium, delivering a maximum output of 160kW (218ps) and a maximum torque of 300Nm. The Scenic E-Tech was named "Car of the Year 2024" in Europe and was selected as "Car of the Month" for September by the Korea Automobile Journalists Association.
Renault Korea is offering its largest purchase benefits of the year in December, the final month when the individual consumption tax reduction applies, including up to 1.6 million won in "double individual consumption tax benefits" depending on the model.
The Grand Koleos offers double individual consumption tax benefits ranging from 1.1 million to 1.6 million won depending on the powertrain and month of production, and provides up to 5.4 million won for the gasoline 2.0 turbo Escapade Roof Box model. The coupe-style SUV Arkana is eligible for benefits ranging from 400,000 to 900,000 won, while the 1.6 GTe model offers benefits of up to 3.7 million won.
