Posts Written Under the Name "Han Donghoon" Appear on People Power Party Bulletin Board
Lee Junseok: "I Hope It's Just a Namesake... The Content Is Like a Comedy"

Lee Junseok, leader of the Reform New Party, has disclosed a post written under the name "Han Donghoon" in connection with the controversy surrounding the People Power Party's member bulletin board ("Dangge").

On December 17, Lee wrote on his Facebook page, "Someone named Han Donghoon posted this on the People Power Party member bulletin board and allegedly orchestrated something. I sincerely hope it is just a namesake."

He continued, "If that's not the case, isn't it just pathetic? It's also been said that someone asked former People Power Party Supreme Council member Jang Yechang to criticize me, Lee Junseok. If that's true, it's just petty."

Lee added, "Judging by the content alone, it's a comedy. If it's not true, they should just say so, but I doubt they will."

In November of last year, multiple posts criticizing former President Yoon Sukyeol and his wife, allegedly written under the names of former People Power Party leader Han Donghoon and his family members, were uploaded to the party's member bulletin board, sparking the so-called "Dangge" controversy.

The member bulletin board allows only registered members who have verified their real names to post, and only the surname is displayed while the rest of the name is anonymized. However, due to a system error, posts could be searched and revealed in full if both the surname and given name were entered, which fueled the controversy.

At the time, former leader Han stated, "It is not appropriate to explain every single case," but did not provide a clear explanation regarding the alleged manipulation of posts.

Regarding the suspicions, Lee Hosun, chairman of the People Power Party's Audit Committee, announced on December 9, "We are currently in the process of verifying the actual authors of the posts that are said to have been uploaded under the names of former leader Han and his family members."
