Plantynet Wins Excellence Award in IT Solutions at Korea AI·SW Company Competitiveness Awards

The Korea AI·SW Company Competitiveness Awards is an event that discovers and recognizes companies contributing to the development of the domestic software industry, selecting winners through a comprehensive evaluation of technological capabilities and market value. The event has been held annually since 2001, and this year's ceremony was hosted by the Korea Artificial Intelligence Software Industry Association (KOSA) and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT, among others.

Plantynet was selected as an award-winning company in recognition of its achievements in supplying the AI-based smart education solution 'nBlock' to public institutions such as education offices, thereby enhancing classroom efficiency and safety.

The core features of 'nBlock' include ▲deepfake image blocking ▲detection of gambling and drug-related websites ▲analysis of explicit content in YouTube streaming videos. It also supports integration with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SchoolNet (NIS) infrastructure, enabling education offices across the country to utilize the solution.

In particular, the 'Class Mode' feature provides a teacher-centered integrated classroom environment, from distributing learning materials to controlling the use of smart devices. An official from an institution that has implemented the solution commented, "nBlock is a solution that safely manages students' learning environments while enhancing convenience for teachers."

'nBlock' is designed based on Plantynet's patented technology for 'a device and method for filtering harmful video files,' enabling it to block a wider range of harmful content with higher accuracy compared to existing solutions, thus gaining a competitive edge. The company plans to further advance its AI-based technology and expand the provision of safe digital environments not only in schools but also in homes and public sectors.

Park Cheoljjin, Head of Business Division at Plantynet, stated, "This award is a recognition of Plantynet's technological prowess in ensuring safety in smart education environments," adding, "We will continue to enhance our AI-based educational security technologies to provide safe and efficient learning environments."

Meanwhile, Plantynet is an AI-based security solutions company, supplying products focused on harmful content blocking technology to enterprises and public institutions. Its main products include 'OfficeGuard' and 'PCGuard.' Recently, the company completed the registration of 17 related product lines on the Public Procurement Service's Digital Service Mall.
