Through this contract, NHN KCP will provide a unified electronic payment gateway (PG) system for all payment services related to Hyundai Home Shopping's broadcast orders (ARS operator payments) and its online mall, Hmall. As a result, Hyundai Home Shopping is expected to greatly enhance payment efficiency and stability, while also reducing development and operational resources and integrating its settlement system, leading to improved operational costs.
Hyundai Home Shopping is a leading commerce company in Korea that offers a one-stop shopping experience across a variety of purchase channels, including TV, internet, and mobile. The company operates multiple commerce channels such as the internet shopping mall Hmall and the mobile live commerce channel Showra, and has been actively expanding into new businesses, including the recent launch of its own private brand, Urban Around.
NHN KCP expects that this collaboration will provide a stable payment infrastructure for Hyundai Home Shopping’s multi-channel commerce operations. The company plans to expand its integrated payment model to other multi-channel commerce businesses, covering home shopping broadcasts, online malls, and live commerce, and to broaden its partnerships across the distribution and commerce sectors.
