Form the Pillars of Daekyung University's Women's Soccer Team Growth
The recent achievements of the Daekyung University women's soccer team go beyond a simple improvement in results.
Behind their rapid rise to national competitiveness in such a short period since the team's founding lies the meticulous decision-making and consistent philosophy of leaders who know the field best.

The coaching system established by Head Coach Lee Minyoung, along with coaches Jo Joobin and Ko Hyunji, has focused on building a "sustainable team" rather than just "winning soccer."
This approach-prioritizing the pace and direction of player development over quick results-has, in fact, led to more stable outcomes.
Lee Minyoung is recognized as a coach who carefully analyzes the characteristics and potential of each player and incorporates them into the team's tactics.
The training system, which seamlessly integrates technical drills with tactical understanding, has quickly elevated the team's overall performance and focused on enabling players to make sound decisions and execute plays effectively in various situations.
The coaching philosophy, which emphasizes "growth-oriented soccer" over short-term, result-driven success, is credited with strengthening the team's core fundamentals.
Coach Jo Joobin has been responsible for opponent analysis and tactical adjustments, adding a layer of precision to the team.
His objective assessments of match flow and tailored strategies have improved the team's stability in close contests and played a crucial role in shifting momentum at critical moments with well-prepared decisions.

Coach Ko Hyunji has overseen player management and the intensity of on-field training, maintaining balance in team operations.
Her training methods, which combine physical conditioning with mental resilience, have reduced the risk of injury and established a foundation for maintaining focus throughout long tournaments. Her management skills in less visible areas have further enhanced the team's competitiveness.
This organic collaboration among the coaching staff has been proven through the team's results.
In 2025, the Daekyung University women's soccer team won the Gyeongbuk representative selection match for the National Sports Festival on July 16 and secured a bronze medal at the 106th National Sports Festival.
They further demonstrated their presence on the national stage by finishing third at the Autumn Korea Women's Football Federation tournament held in November.
The role of physical trainer Byun Junseok (Byun Jaehyun) has also been indispensable. By managing player condition and adjusting training intensity, he has helped the team maintain consistent performance throughout long competitions and provided the foundation for the coaching staff's tactical plans to be realized on the field.
The achievements of the Daekyung University women's soccer team are ultimately the result of both people and systems. The structure, in which the head coach and coaches respect each other's areas of expertise and work in harmony, has enhanced the stability of team operations, which has directly translated into improved performance.
On the morning of the 13th at 7:30 AM, Cho Hyunil, Mayor of Gyeongsan, Jo Jiyeon, Member of the National Assembly, Lee Cheolsik, Gyeongbuk Provincial Council member, and Gyeongsan City Council members visited the Citizen's Sports Ground to take a commemorative photo with the women's soccer team coach and manager of Daekyeong University. The rapid progress of the Daekyung University women's soccer team is a case study in how quickly a team can grow when "process" is prioritized over "results."
The coaching staff's decision to focus on player development and improving the team's overall structure, rather than chasing short-term results, has ultimately translated into national-level competitiveness.
As the system built by leaders with the deepest field experience continues to grow, Gyeongsan's vision of developing sports as a future asset for the city is also gaining greater credibility.
