Since being appointed CEO in 2023, Yoon Heekyung has managed the Yangsan factory, achieving average annual sales of over 800 billion won for the past three years and providing stable employment for approximately 600 employees at the Yangsan plant. These efforts have led to tangible results in stabilizing the regional economy and creating jobs.
Additionally, by faithfully paying about 8.5 billion won in local taxes each year, she has contributed to expanding Yangsan City’s independent financial resources and building local infrastructure, taking a leading role in stabilizing the livelihoods of residents.
Yoon Heekyung has also consistently dedicated efforts to environmental preservation beyond corporate management. She donated eco-friendly electric cleaning vehicles to Yangsan City, improving the urban environment and working conditions for employees. Through the installation of pollution prevention facilities, she has improved residents’ living conditions, reduced odors from the manufacturing plant, decreased carbon dioxide emissions, and enhanced energy productivity by reusing wastewater and utilizing by-products. She has also worked to raise awareness of environmental conservation by organizing environmental clean-up activities and campaigns.
She has been proactive in contributing to the local community as well. By donating 35 pieces of 14 types of medical equipment to the Woongsang Health Center, she has helped improve residents’ health. Through safety and health cooperation projects, she has promoted a culture of safety throughout the supply chain by fostering collaboration between large and small to medium-sized enterprises.
She has also operated the 'Own Your Future' program to strengthen the capabilities of employees, contributing to the growth of local talent. Additionally, by sponsoring opera performances for Yangsan citizens, she has helped enhance the cultural life of the community.
This commendation was awarded to individuals who have contributed to revitalizing the regional economy and local development by stabilizing the livelihoods of residents despite challenging economic conditions. It is expected to serve as a model case for promoting mutual growth with the local community.
