"Saengsahak Research," first published in May 2020, is an academic journal that has explored discourses on life and death through an interdisciplinary approach, encompassing philosophy, religious studies, public health, cultural anthropology, sociology, and social welfare. The journal has been highly regarded for leading interdisciplinary research and consistently accumulating significant academic achievements.
The National Research Foundation of Korea’s academic journal evaluation is a system that comprehensively assesses a journal’s academic contribution, the fairness of its peer review process, the operation of its editorial board, and adherence to research ethics. Being selected as a KCI-registered journal signifies that the journal has established high credibility and influence within the Korean academic community.
Based on this achievement, the Saengsahak Research Institute at Hallym University plans to expand research participation from both domestic and international scholars and to continuously shed light on key contemporary issues such as life and death, care and human dignity, quality of life, and ethical challenges.
