Doosan Enerbility Secures Additional Order for Three Gas Turbines from Major U.S. Tech Company

Signed Contract to Supply Three 380MW-Class Units for Data Center Use
Expanding Presence in North America
Scheduled Deliveries from 2027 to 2028

Doosan Enerbility has accelerated its expansion in the North American market by securing an additional gas turbine order in the United States.

On December 17, Doosan Enerbility announced that it had signed a contract to supply three 380MW-class gas turbines to a major U.S. big tech company. The turbines will be used in data centers being built by this company. One unit is scheduled for delivery in 2027, with two more to follow in 2028. This contract is an additional order following the agreement signed in October to supply two gas turbines. Within approximately two months, Doosan Enerbility has secured contracts to supply a total of five gas turbines to the same U.S. big tech company.

The scale of this additional order exceeds 2.5% of Doosan Enerbility's recent revenue of 16.233 trillion won, making it subject to public disclosure. As these consecutive orders are from a single client, this is seen as a significant step in strengthening the company's presence in the North American data center market.

Doosan Enerbility's rapid growth in gas turbine orders in the United States has been attributed to its proven performance, competitive delivery timelines, and strong local service capabilities. Since successfully localizing large gas turbines in 2019, Doosan Enerbility has completed approximately 17,000 hours of demonstration, establishing technological reliability. Including this latest contract, the company has now secured orders for a total of 12 gas turbines to date.

The maintenance and service capabilities of its Houston-based subsidiary, Doosan Turbo Machinery Services (DTS), have also contributed to the expansion of orders. The company explained that its swift, locally based service support has met the needs of North American customers.

Son Seungwoo, Head of the Power Services Business Group at Doosan Enerbility, stated, "Following our first export to the United States, we have now secured an additional supply contract. We will continue to strengthen our position in the rapidly growing North American market and proactively respond to increasing demand."
