LocknLock Holds "Love For Mukho" Campaign in Mukho

Employees Participate in Kimchi-Making and Goods Sharing
Reducing Single-Use Products and Caring for the Environment

LocknLock announced on the 17th that it conducted the "Love For Mukho" campaign for one night and two days in Mukho-dong, Donghae City, Gangwon Province, starting from the 11th.


Mukho suffered significant damage from a wildfire in 2022, but after restoration efforts, it has become a popular tourist destination among younger generations, featuring beautiful beaches and the mural village of Nongoldam-gil. With more than 46% of the population being elderly, LocknLock organized this campaign to help vulnerable local residents spend a warm winter.

On the first day of the campaign, LocknLock employees delivered goods to Mukho and volunteered by making and delivering kimchi, extending a helping hand to the elderly in Mukho-dong. Previously, kimchi for winter was delivered using plastic and styrofoam packaging, but with LocknLock donating kimchi containers this time, the use of disposable products was reduced, and kimchi could be delivered more hygienically and safely.


Afterward, in collaboration with the Giving Plus Foundation, LocknLock visited Donghae City Hall to hold a donation ceremony for the "Warm Box" to be given to vulnerable groups. Together with Donghae City Hall employees, they also conducted the "Donghaeng Plogging" event, collecting trash along rivers such as the Jeoncheon trail.


Ahn Sungil, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Executive Director of LocknLock, said, "I hope this campaign has served as an opportunity to deliver a small but warm touch to both the local community and the environment."
