and Reviews Operational Direction Together
On December 17, Masanhappo District of Changwon Special City in South Gyeongsang Province held a meeting with the Chairpersons' Council of the Masanhappo District Residents' Autonomy Association.

The meeting was organized to review the operation of the Residents' Autonomy Association over the past year and to share feedback raised in the field. Sixteen participants, including the mayor of Masanhappo District, related officials, and members and advisors of the Chairpersons' Council, attended the event and discussed the current status of the association's operations.
During the communication session, participants shared challenges faced in the operation of the Residents' Autonomy Association and areas in need of improvement. Opinions were also exchanged on ways to increase resident participation and on the council's role in sharing experiences among towns and neighborhoods.
Seo Hogwan, Mayor of Masanhappo District, stated, "Residents' autonomy is an important driving force for our community," and added, "We will continue to maintain open communication to ensure the stable operation of the Residents' Autonomy Association."
Masanhappo District plans to continue supporting residents' autonomy based on cooperation with the Residents' Autonomy Association, so that self-governance tailored to local conditions can be sustained.
