According to the county on the 17th, this training was organized to reflect the characteristics of sports facilities used by large numbers of people simultaneously, and to review the overall emergency response system, including initial response and rapid evacuation in the event of a major fire.
All employees of the Hwasun County Facility Management Office participated in the training, which simulated a fire scenario and was carried out following procedures similar to those in a real situation. The main components of the training included: ▲fire situation notification ▲guidance for evacuation of all facilities ▲confirmation of evacuation routes ▲headcount checks ▲cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) ▲on-site control and debriefing.
In particular, practical training was conducted, including the use of fire extinguishers and indoor fire hydrants, to enhance on-site response capabilities and ensure swift and systematic action in the event of a disaster.
Maengwoo Lee, Director of the Facility Management Office, stated, "We will continue to strengthen our disaster response capabilities and create a safe sports facility environment where residents can use the facilities with peace of mind."
Meanwhile, the county plans to continue conducting regular disaster response training and safety inspections for sports facilities to further strengthen its practical response capabilities in the event of a disaster.
