Daejeon Technopark recently participated in the '2025 Tokyo International Robot Exhibition (iREX 2025)' held at Tokyo Big Sight in Japan, achieving business consultations totaling approximately 77.9 billion KRW.

Daejeon Technopark, together with Daejeon City and the Korea AI and Robot Industry Association, set up the 'Daejeon K-Robot Joint Pavilion' to support overseas expansion for companies in Daejeon's strategic robotics sectors, including communications, drones, autonomous robots, grippers, and precision positioning.

The joint pavilion featured six companies: ▲Skytech (drone-based energy infrastructure diagnostics), ▲Cynorex (high-precision RTK GPS solutions), ▲Thingrip (electric grippers for collaborative robots), ▲Mplat (AI-based autonomous guide robots), ▲Comesta (digital wireless transmission and reception systems), and ▲Korea Information System (KIS, drone and security solutions), all of which showcased their core technologies and products.

During the exhibition, a total of 192 consultations were conducted, resulting in business discussions worth approximately 77.9 billion KRW. In particular, concrete cooperation talks were held with major Japanese corporations and global buyers, including technology verification, sample testing, field application, and agency contracts.

Kim Wooyeon, President of Daejeon Technopark, stated, "This iREX 2025 was an opportunity for Daejeon robotics companies to be recognized for both their technological capabilities and business potential in the global market. We will strengthen follow-up support so that the networks and demand established through the exhibition can lead to actual exports beyond just overseas expansion."
