BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) was selected as an outstanding case bank at the "2025 Bank Sector Small Business Management Consulting Excellence Case Presentation" and received the Governor of the Financial Supervisory Service Award.

This presentation, organized by the Korea Federation of Banks, was designed to share the achievements of small business consulting in the banking sector and to promote the spread of best practices.

Busan Bank was the only regional bank to be selected as an outstanding case bank, recognized for its consistent efforts in practicing regionally based, mutually beneficial finance. The newly established "Regional Economy Hope Center," launched in July 2025, was highly praised for systematically operating tailored financial consultations for small business owners, management consulting, and educational programs.

Busan Bank's outstanding case introduced at this presentation, titled "A Startup Story Soaring on Two Wings: Consulting and Startup Capital," involved providing management consulting and financial support to a woman in her 40s who, after becoming pregnant while working at a small or medium-sized enterprise, found it difficult to continue her career. This support enabled her to achieve independence and growth.

This case highlighted how a prospective entrepreneur facing a career interruption crisis succeeded in launching a stable business through customized consulting and startup funding. It was presented as a representative example demonstrating the effectiveness of field-oriented consulting.
