To select the outstanding cases, a total of 75 active administration cases promoted by each department were evaluated in the first and second rounds. The final rankings of the five outstanding cases were determined through deliberation and resolution by the Guri City Active Administration Committee.

The selected outstanding cases of active administration are as follows: 1st place, "Promotion of the Gyeonggi Soil Scent Barefoot Trail Project"; 2nd place, "Implementation of an Automatic Warning System for Illegal Advertisements"; 3rd place, "Re-attracting and Early Opening of Lotte Mart Guri Branch in Guri Distribution Complex Market"; 4th place, "First Public Installation of Solar Smart Pole Wi-Fi Nationwide"; and 5th place, "Free Installation of Odor Prevention Facilities at Topyeong Relay Pumping Station through Private Technology Proposals," for a total of five cases.

Among these, the top-ranked case for the second half of the year, "Promotion of the Gyeonggi Soil Scent Barefoot Trail Project," was highly praised for creating a 1-kilometer barefoot trail for citizen recreation in the buffer green zone along Gyeongchunbuk-ro, which contributed to improving the health of Guri citizens and had a positive effect on revitalizing the local commercial area near the trail.

The city plans to grant personnel benefits to the public officials who promoted these outstanding cases of active administration, including additional work performance points, the highest grade of performance bonuses, and reward leave.

Mayor Baek Kyunghyun of Guri City stated, "We will continue to produce tangible results in active administration that citizens can truly feel."
