Safety Campaign Message to Be Applied from Next Year
Expanding Traffic Safety Culture Through Public-Private Cooperation
Daesun Brewery, a local company in Busan, has joined hands with Gijang Police Station to promote a culture of traffic safety among citizens.
On December 16, Daesun Brewery signed a business agreement with Busan Gijang Police Station at its Gijang plant in Busan to prevent traffic accidents and establish a culture of safety.

The signing ceremony was attended by Choi Seong-uk, Head of Daesun Brewery, Kwon Yoo-hyun, Chief of Busan Gijang Police Station, and officials from both sides. A certificate of appreciation was also presented to recognize contributions to enhancing community safety.
Under the agreement, starting in January next year, Daesun Brewery will display the message "Busan Traffic Safety with Citizens, Buckle Up for Safety" on its major products to naturally raise awareness among citizens about the importance of wearing seat belts. The aim is to increase the effectiveness of the campaign by promoting traffic safety through everyday consumer goods.
Since launching the "Four Major Social Evils Eradication Campaign" in 2013, Daesun Brewery and Gijang Police Station have collaborated five times on initiatives such as child abuse prevention, protection of vulnerable groups, and traffic accident prevention, consistently working together to promote public interest in the local community.
Choi Hongseong, CEO of Daesun Brewery, said, "We are pleased to participate in this meaningful activity to protect citizens' lives through public-private cooperation," adding, "We hope this campaign will not be a one-off event but will serve as an opportunity to establish an advanced traffic safety culture."
Daesun Brewery fulfills its social responsibility as a leading local company by engaging in various public interest activities in partnership with local public institutions, such as drug crime prevention with Busan Customs and Dongnae Police Station, wildfire prevention with Gijang Fire Station, and voice phishing crime prevention campaigns with Haeundae Police Station.
