The opening ceremony took place at 176-2, Gwangdong-ri, Toechon-myeon, and was attended by Mayor Bang Sehwan, city council members, local residents, and officials from related organizations.

The newly opened road is a four-lane, two-way road with a total length of 700 meters and a width of 25 meters, stretching from Gwangdong Intersection to Dosu Bridge. The project began with compensation procedures in 2020, completed the first section in 2023, and was fully opened to the public upon the completion of the second section in November 2025.

The city believes that the opening of this road has already led to a reduction in traffic congestion and a significant improvement in traffic convenience in the Gwangdong-ri area of Toechon-myeon.
