This is the first time that a "Love Temperature Tower" has been installed in Yeoncheon County. In particular, with the active cooperation of Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL), the Love Temperature Tower, a symbol of the year-end and New Year sharing culture, was installed at Yeoncheon Station, which is both the starting and ending point of Seoul Subway Line 1.

This year's campaign, under the slogan "Donating for More Happiness, Changing Yeoncheon Through Giving," runs from December 1 to January 31 of next year. The fundraising target to support vulnerable groups in Yeoncheon County is 383 million won. For every 3.83 million won raised, which is 1% of the target amount, the temperature on the Love Temperature Tower installed at the station will rise by one degree.

The launch ceremony was attended by Kim Eunsik, Station Manager of Yeoncheon Station; Kim Hakseok, Private Chairman of the Yeoncheon County Community Security Council; Park Kyungja, Executive Committee Chair; major local donors; and Lee Kyunga, Head of Gyeonggi Northern Love Fruit. The participants held the "Love Temperature Tower Unveiling Ceremony" and a "100-Degree Achievement Performance," officially announcing the start of the sharing campaign.

At the event, Yeoncheon County's first and second "Sharing Honor Companies" (corporate donors contributing over 100 million won to Love Fruit), Geonyong Environment Development Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Youngcheol) and Baekhak Beverage Co., Ltd. (CEO Jung Yongju), each donated 30 million won. Additionally, Hi Funding Co., Ltd. (CEO Kang Byungsam) and Chamhan Food Co., Ltd. (CEO Lim Insook) contributed 10 million won and 1 million won, respectively, further energizing the event.

A Yeoncheon County official said, "We are grateful for the community's interest and participation, and we hope this campaign will help spread a culture of neighbors helping each other."

Lee Kyunga, Head of Gyeonggi Northern Love Fruit, stated, "This temperature tower, launched in an area bordering the county, is meaningful as it marks the dawn of sharing from the northernmost part of Gyeonggi Province. We hope that through citizens' participation, support will reach neighbors in need."

All funds raised will be used to improve local welfare, including customized welfare projects to address blind spots in Yeoncheon County's welfare system and to provide living and medical expenses for low-income families.
