221 Digital Tutors Trained to Support AI-Based Classes

Elis Group, the operator of the AI education solutions brand 'Elis School', announced on the 16th that it held a project performance report meeting for the '2025 Digital Tutor Training Center Gyeongsang Region II Center' at the Haeundae Central Hotel in Busan on the 12th.

At the report meeting, the results of the project operations were shared, and supplementary measures and directions for further advancement were discussed to accelerate the transition to AI in public education.

A 'digital tutor' is a dedicated staff member who assists teachers in elementary, middle, and high schools by managing digital devices and software for classes and supporting AI- and digital-based lessons. Digital tutors help bridge the digital divide among students and reduce the instructional and administrative burdens on teachers, thereby facilitating the transition to AI (AX) in public education.

Since being selected as the operating organization for the Gyeongsang Region II Center in June, Elis School has trained a total of 221 digital tutors in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions. The 70-session training course, conducted over approximately five months, consisted of modules on understanding the roles and work of digital tutors, methods for operating AI- and digital-based classes, and regionally specialized programs. In particular, the regionally specialized courses, focused on hands-on practice with local AI edtech platforms, were designed so that graduates could be immediately deployed to schools and perform their duties.
