Seasonal Fruit RTD Alcoholic Beverage Launched for Year-End Gatherings
Three Cans for 9,900 Won Promotion Until the 31st

Lotte Mart and Lotte Supermarkets announced on December 16 that they will launch a ready-to-drink (RTD) beverage called "Strawberry Highball," featuring seasonal winter strawberries, to target year-end home party demand.

The product will be available exclusively at offline stores starting December 18, priced at 4,000 won per 500ml can. To celebrate the launch, customers can purchase three cans for 9,900 won until December 31.

The "Strawberry Highball" is characterized by the sweet flavor of strawberries combined with the refreshing taste of lemon slices. To prevent the drink from becoming overly sweet when using only strawberries, lemon slices-one of the most widely used cocktail ingredients-were added.

Previously, Lotte Mart and Lotte Supermarkets introduced four new RTD alcoholic beverages this year, reflecting the growth of the RTD market. These included the "Yamaya Spicy Tomato Highball," made with sweet potato soju, and three varieties of "My Ball" (lemon, shine muscat, and yuzu). Among them, all three "My Ball" products, launched in September, ranked within the top five in RTD alcoholic beverage sales over approximately three months. The Yamaya Spicy Tomato Highball also attracted attention as the first product in Korea to blend Japanese sweet potato soju with chili peppers and tomatoes.

Song Kyuhyun, Merchandise Director (MD) of the alcoholic beverage team at Lotte Mart and Lotte Supermarkets, stated, "RTD alcoholic beverages are experiencing the fastest-changing consumer trends in the liquor market. As year-end gatherings become more frequent, we plan to meet the demand for unique alcoholic beverages by introducing the Strawberry Highball made with winter's representative fruit, strawberries."
