Singer Jinyoung Park has wrapped up his year-end solo concert.
According to JYP Entertainment on December 15, Jinyoung Park held his solo concert "Happy Hour" at Kyung Hee University's Grand Peace Palace in Seoul from December 13 to 14, meeting with his fans.
The concert opened with a performance by singer Jinah Kwon, who participated in the recently released song "Happy Hour (On the Way Home from Work)" last month. She performed "Comfort" and "I Was Lucky," and during "That's How My Heart Feels," Jinyoung Park appeared on stage for a joint performance.
Jinyoung Park said, "'That's How My Heart Feels' is a song I truly love. Twelve years ago, I met Jinah as a contestant on 'K-pop Star,' and now she is a singer-songwriter whose music I enjoy listening to." He added, "'Happy Hour (On the Way Home from Work)' is a song we sang together, meant to encourage ourselves after a tough day."
He then took to the stage with a guitar, saying, "For this year's concert, I wanted it to be a time for mutual healing between you and me, so I decided to sing with just a guitar." He shared how he learned pop music from his uncle as a child, performed Wonder Girls' "Nobody," and continued with "Don't Leave Me," "Behind You," and god's "Lie," accompanied by piano, leading the audience in a sing-along.
From the middle of the concert, a band session was added. Jinyoung Park said, "To liven up the atmosphere, I invited one more guitarist," then joked, "With instruments, it definitely sounds richer. I'll add just four more instruments." As the curtain rose, the full band session appeared. He then performed "You're the Only One," followed by rearranged versions of "When We Disco," "24 Hours Are Not Enough," and Jinseong's "At Andong Station."
For the "Fever" stage, the curtain lifted again to reveal a full 15-member band session. Jinyoung Park said, "Everything up to now was a build-up for this. I'm going to take you back to my debut days," and performed "Proposal Song." He continued with a performance of Ray Charles' "Hit the Road, Jack."
Jinyoung Park performed "Elevator" in full for the first time in 11 years, and during "I Have a Woman," he invited audience members on stage to join him. On December 13, he celebrated his birthday with fans through a cake event, and on December 14, he invited Wonder Girls' Sunye from the audience to the stage for a duet of "When We Broke Up at Noon." Sunye commented, "After watching today's concert, I believe that 'Jinyoung Park dancing until age 60' is definitely possible."
The show continued with performances of "I'm Alive," "She Was Pretty," and "Honey." Jinyoung Park said, "There are only six years left until I fulfill my promise to deliver my best performance at my 60th birthday celebration. Thanks to all of you, I think we'll be able to meet again next year." He added, "Let's not give up and hang in there through the coming year so we can meet again here." For the encore, he sang "One Candle" and a Christmas carol.
Jinyoung Park will continue his performances at Kanadevia Hall in Tokyo, Japan, on February 5, 2026.
