Jangheung County in Jeonnam received the top prize at the "2025 Agricultural College Operation Best Institution Presentation Contest" hosted by the Rural Development Administration.
According to Jangheung County on December 15, the contest evaluated 150 rural development institutions across cities and counties nationwide. The selection process included self-assessment, competency evaluation, and a central evaluation, comprehensively reviewing learner needs analysis, course operation, evaluation, and follow-up management to select the winning institutions.
Jangheung County Agricultural College operated two programs: Smart Agriculture and Management & Marketing. The college implemented hands-on education, field trips, and group practice as participatory programs. Its AI-based digital literacy education, in-house instructor training, and a system for evaluating and feeding back educational outcomes were also highly rated.
Since its establishment in 2007, Jangheung County Agricultural College has produced 1,187 graduates as of this year.
