ABKO Decides to Sell Gimpo Logistics Center

ABKO announced on December 15 that it has decided to sell its logistics center located in the Gimpo 3rd Industrial Complex, securing 8 billion won in funds. The company made this decision to enhance financial flexibility and secure resources for pursuing new business ventures and growth strategies.

The asset to be sold is the logistics center located at 3886, Hagun-ri, Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do. After the contract is finalized, the remaining payment will be made on January 30 of next year. ABKO is also in the process of selling adjacent land it currently owns.

ABKO plans to use the funds secured through the sale to expand its future business. In particular, it intends to strengthen its competitiveness by investing in new businesses, including artificial intelligence (AI), and implementing mid- to long-term growth strategies.

A representative from ABKO stated, "The sale of the logistics center is a strategic decision to prepare for future growth by improving business efficiency," adding, "Based on the secured funds, we will gradually pursue investments in various new businesses and strengthen our growth engines."

ABKO is also continuing to implement shareholder-friendly policies. Last month, the company completed the cancellation of approximately 5.1 million treasury shares. On December 1, it decided to pay a dividend of 174 won per share, which represents a market dividend yield of about 17.5%.
