The 'Kumdori Outdoor Skating Rink' at Daejeon Expo Citizen Plaza will open on December 19.
The Kumdori Outdoor Skating Rink will be in operation from December 19 until February 8, 2026.
This year, the Kumdori Outdoor Skating Rink will feature a variety of ice facilities, including an international-standard short track ice rink (1,800㎡), a snow sledding area (480㎡), and an ice sledding area (450㎡). It will also offer a family-friendly experience zone with attractions such as a mini train, Viking ride, air bumper cars, Euro bungee, and weekend events.
Additionally, this year a new snow sledding area (ice tube slide) will be introduced, and amenities such as a spacious glass-walled lounge and expanded equipment rental center will be enhanced and upgraded to provide a more comfortable environment for visitors.
An official from the organization stated, "To prevent safety accidents, we will limit the number of users at the skating rink and snow sledding area to appropriate levels and deploy sufficient safety personnel, ensuring that visitors can enjoy themselves with peace of mind."
The outdoor skating rink will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays through Thursdays, and until 8:00 p.m. on Fridays through Sundays. The rink will be closed on Mondays.
The admission fee is 2,000 won per hour per session. Tickets can be purchased in advance through Naver or on-site. In particular, national merit recipients, registered persons with disabilities, and basic livelihood security recipients are eligible for free admission.
