Samsung Electronics announced on December 15 that the number of subscribers to its rechargeable easy payment service, "Samsung Wallet Money·Point," which was launched in October, has surpassed 1 million.

The company analyzed that users responded positively to the fact that Samsung Wallet allows payment, recharge, point accumulation, and point usage all within a single application. In particular, the "Gift" feature in the "Benefits Tab" of Samsung Wallet gained popularity among users, as purchasing products through this feature allows a portion of the payment amount to be accumulated as points.

Samsung Wallet Money is a mobile payment method that does not require a physical card. Users can easily connect their existing bank accounts to Samsung Wallet Money for convenient use. Samsung Wallet Points are a reward service that automatically accumulates a certain amount of points every time a payment is made with Samsung Wallet Money, and these points can be used like cash.

Samsung Wallet Money·Point offers practical benefits for user convenience, including: an "unlimited accumulation structure" with no cap on point accumulation; the ability to make payments and accumulate or use points at all offline card merchants; and a variety of promotions.

To celebrate reaching 1 million subscribers, Samsung Electronics is running a range of promotions. Starting December 15, customers who make payments with Samsung Wallet Money·Point will receive up to 10% of the payment amount back as Samsung Wallet Points. In addition, Samsung Electronics will award customers with 1,000 points for making three payments and 2,000 points for making five payments using Samsung Wallet Money. Various events, such as a roulette game and instant-win rewards, are also available through the Samsung Wallet app.
