Up to 1.2 Billion Won in Repair Subsidies for Apartments Over 7 Years Old... Daegu Dalseong County Now Accepting Applications

Repairs for Aging Pipes and Elevators
Application Deadline: January 29 Next Year

On December 14, Daegu Dalseong County (Governor Choi Jaehoon) announced that it will officially launch the 2026 support program for communal housing management costs, aimed at improving the deteriorating residential environment of aging apartment complexes.


Dalseong County has been providing annual subsidies for apartment complexes that have been in use for more than seven years since completion, in order to create a safe and pleasant residential environment for communal housing.

Selected apartment complexes will receive support for up to 70% of the total project cost. Eligible projects include relocating electric vehicle chargers to above ground, repairing aging pipes, elevator maintenance, and installing water barriers to prevent flooding in underground parking lots. Each complex can receive up to 1.2 billion won, and the amount of support will vary according to the support criteria.


Apartment complexes wishing to apply for support must prepare the required documents and submit them in person to the County Office's Architecture Division or by mail by January 29, 2026. After document review and on-site inspections, the county plans to select the recipient complexes in February.


Choi Jaehoon, Governor of Dalseong County, stated, "Through this support program for communal housing, we hope to reduce the burden on residents and create a sustainable living environment. We will continue to do our utmost to provide various support measures to improve the convenience and satisfaction of our residents."
