Samdo E&C Launches Relay Donations with Generous 10 Million Won Project... Completes Rooftop Waterproofing at Seongju-gun Community Center

High-Strength TPO Method, Ongoing Contribution Beyond One-Time Efforts
Jeon Hwasik and Monk Ilun Play Key Bridge-Building Roles in Support

The Bonri 2-ri community center in Yongam-myeon, Seongju-gun, North Gyeongsang Province, has been newly renovated through a generous talent donation project by local company Samdo E&C, valued at approximately 10 million won.

On December 11, Yongam-myeon announced that Samdo E&C (CEO Jung Semin), a local company, had applied a high-strength TPO sheet waterproofing method to the rooftop of the Bonri 2-ri community center, which had been suffering from severe leaks due to aging, and completed the repairs free of charge.

According to industry sources, considering the method and scale, the construction costs are estimated to reach around 10 million won, making this a large-scale social contribution activity that goes beyond a simple donation.

The community center had experienced prolonged leakage, causing significant inconvenience to the elderly users, but repairs had been delayed due to a lack of budget.

Upon learning about these local difficulties, Samdo E&C voluntarily and without hesitation offered to support the construction work.

In particular, by applying the TPO sheet waterproofing method, which is known for its durability and energy-saving effects, this project has enabled the elderly to use the facility in a more comfortable and safe environment.

This marks the first social contribution activity by Samdo E&C utilizing its technological capabilities.

CEO Jung Semin stated, "I am pleased to be able to provide even a small amount of help to create a comfortable resting place for the elderly." He added, "Starting with this project at the Seongju-gun community center, we will continue to fulfill our corporate social responsibility by working with neighboring regions such as Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province to carry out ongoing relay donations, rather than one-off initiatives."

Lee Sookhee, head of Yongam-myeon, said, "I am deeply grateful to Samdo E&C for readily supporting this high-strength construction project worth 10 million won despite their busy schedule," and added, "I believe this project will help make the community center a safer and warmer place of rest."

It has been reported that former Seongju-gun Deputy Governor Jeon Hwasik and Ilun, the head monk of Geumguksa Temple, played significant roles in selecting the construction site.
