Sweeping the Grand, Excellence, and Encouragement Awards
Demonstrating Practical Design Competence
Dong-A University (President Lee Haewoo) announced on December 12 that students from the Department of Industrial Design achieved a triple crown-winning the Grand Prize, Excellence Award, and Encouragement Award-at the "2025 Shared Enterprise-University Cooperation Innovation Project Capstone," hosted by the Busan Economic Promotion Agency.
In this project, participating students were matched with companies in early November to create CI (Corporate Identity) and BI (Brand Identity) designs. They then presented their results and received awards at the "7th Busan Sharing Economy Forum" held on November 27.
The Grand Prize went to the "Jammers Team" from the Department of Industrial Design (Team Leader Lee Seungyeon; Team Members Lim Suhyun and Shim Jaein). The team was responsible for developing integrated CI and BI branding for Jammers, a comprehensive creative company. They visually reflected the company's scalability, which has grown from a music-based business into IT solutions, marketing, and video/performance content production. The team was highly praised for designing a brand identity that maintains the independence of the three business areas-IT, marketing, and content-while ensuring recognition as a single brand.
Student Lee Seungyeon commented, "It was a meaningful experience that allowed us to learn practical collaboration methods and communication through a real-world project with a company."
The Excellence Award was received by the "Spaceport Team" (Team Leader Moon Jiweon; Team Members Kim Minji and Cho Yeonwoo), who undertook a BI overhaul for "VINGO," an AIoT-based smart cold chain service, reflecting its technological strengths and scalability. They upgraded the existing BI, designed an expandable logo system to encompass the entire range of services, and proposed a practical branding guide applicable to real logistics environments.
The Encouragement Award went to the "Urban Farmers Team" (Team Leader Bae Jiyoon; Team Members Kim Jiyeong, Park Jueun, and Jeong Yeonsu). They established a CI and BI system for "Urban Farm," an urban agriculture platform operated by Urban Farmers based on the sharing economy, focusing on the pilot project "SOOK FARM." By utilizing the underground shopping malls at Sukdeung and Deokcheon Stations as a local co-prosperity platform, they developed a branding structure that highlights the characteristics of citizen-participatory urban agriculture services. The team was recognized for laying the groundwork for future expansion into urban regeneration and ESG models.
Professor Jung Eunsun, the supervising professor, stated, "All three teams received high marks from companies for their practical completeness and applicability. The significance lies in the fact that these are not just proposals but deliverables that can actually be applied to real business operations."
