The Jeju Office of Education will select 10 pilot schools from among elementary, middle, and high schools in the province, and LG Uplus will provide the AI-based teacher administrative management service "U+ Super School" for the 2026 academic year. The pilot schools will be able to handle repetitive tasks such as attendance management, counseling records, document creation, and sending letters to parents in an integrated environment through a web-based platform, without the need to build new on-site systems.
U+ Super School, which will be used in the pilot schools, is a school administrative management solution equipped with an AI agent based on LG's large language model "EXAONE." The goal is to streamline repetitive and inefficient administrative work using AI technology. According to LG Uplus, the AI agent embedded in U+ Super School is designed to understand and assist with teachers' actual administrative processes, enabling teachers to focus more on their core roles of teaching and student guidance.
LG Uplus plans to further enhance the service in collaboration with Super School, a specialist in the education sector, based on feedback and on-site data collected during the pilot operation in Jeju.
Janghyuk Lim, Executive Vice President and Head of the Enterprise Customer Group at LG Uplus, stated, "U+ Super School is a service designed to integrate all aspects of school administration on a digital basis, helping teachers reduce the time spent on repetitive tasks. Starting with our collaboration with the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education, we will expand this into an AI edtech service that truly benefits public education in practice."
