During the meeting, Mayor Oh stated, "The former chemical unit site in Dobong-dong has been neglected for a long time, which has significantly hindered regional development. Lifting the national park designation is essential to establish a Hanok Village."

He also requested a river use permit to create a waterfront revitalization hub along Jungnangcheon. Mayor Oh said, "Dobong District is the only area in northeastern Seoul without a waterfront revitalization hub. There is an urgent need for spaces where residents can enjoy cultural and leisure activities. I request the Climate Ministry to promptly review and approve the river use permit."

In addition, he called for budgetary and administrative support for the creation of a riverside recreation area and observation deck along Jungnangcheon (Chang-dong to Sanggye section), improvements to convenience facilities for local residents within the national park, and national funding for the integrated relocation of Dobong District's sanitation infrastructure.

Mayor Oh emphasized, "Dobong District is the cultural and economic center of northeastern Seoul and a region with great potential for the coexistence of nature and the city. I earnestly request the Climate Ministry's close cooperation to ensure the smooth progress of the district's key projects discussed today."
