The police have booked broadcaster Park Narae, who is facing allegations of power harassment.
On December 9, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced that it had received complaints from Park Narae's former managers the previous day. The accusations include aggravated assault, defamation by spreading false information, and violations of the Information and Communications Network Act (defamation).
The former managers allege workplace harassment, verbal abuse, aggravated assault, proxy prescriptions, and unpaid project expenses by Park Narae. On December 3, they filed for a provisional seizure of real estate at the Seoul Western District Court and are reportedly preparing a lawsuit seeking damages of approximately 100 million won for harm suffered while employed at Park Narae's agency.
On her social networking service (SNS) account, Park Narae stated, "On December 7, I met with my former manager and was able to resolve misunderstandings and distrust, but I still believe everything is my fault and I am deeply reflecting on my actions." She added, "I have decided to suspend all broadcasting activities until everything is completely resolved."
