This signing ceremony was a follow-up action to the local revitalization initiatives confirmed at the Economic Ministers' Meeting held on August 7. The agreement aims to strengthen pan-governmental cooperation to boost domestic demand and enhance local vitality.

Through this agreement, Uljin County and the Ministry of Health and Welfare will pursue mutual cooperation in the following areas:

▲ Promotion and expansion of purchases of Uljin County's local specialty products ▲ Collaboration to encourage participation in the Hometown Love Donation Program and diversify return gifts ▲ Provision of tourism and facility information to encourage the Ministry of Health and Welfare to hold institutional events in Uljin and increase staff visits ▲ Identification and promotion of other win-win cooperation projects to stimulate the local economy.

The county expects that this agreement, by strengthening the foundation for collaboration with central government ministries, will have a tangible impact on the local economy, such as promoting the consumption of local agricultural and marine products and increasing the number of visitors.

A county official stated, "The sisterhood agreement with the Ministry of Health and Welfare is an important milestone for enhancing the implementation of local revitalization policies. By cooperating to expand the consumption of local specialty products, activate the Hometown Love Donation Program, and attract institutional events, both organizations will achieve tangible results in the recovery of the local economy step by step."

Uljin County plans to continuously monitor the implementation of the agreement and to further promote the discovery of collaborative projects between institutions and the expansion of promotional programs.
