“Healthy Meal Power” is part of the ongoing social contribution activities of the Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters. With a donation of 4 million won, the program will provide mixed grains to 91 households in need.
On December 2, a delivery ceremony was held at the Gijang-eup Administrative Welfare Center, marking the official start of the support initiative.
Going forward, council members plan to visit at-risk households in person to deliver the grains, check on their well-being through home visits, and work to address gaps in the local welfare system.
A representative from the Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Kori Headquarters said, “We are pleased to be able to support the local community in any way we can,” adding, “We will continue to engage in sharing activities for the benefit of local residents in the future.”
Kwon Myoyeon, Chairman of the Gijang-eup Community Social Security Council, stated, “The consistent interest and support from the Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters has been a great help to vulnerable groups,” and added, “We will continue to work hard for the development of the community and the improvement of welfare.”
